Study Abroad Advising: Options

Ready to get advised on study abroad?

There are a few options for you. Check out which is best for you and start there!

General Information Sessions

This is the best option if you're just getting started and you're trying to figure out what your first steps are. We'll review how to use the portal, what the types of programs are, and be there to answer basic questions as you start exploring.

For Spring 2020, please set up an appointment with an advisor below.

Peer Advising

Peer advising is great throughout your study abroad process. Peer advising is conducted by returned study abroad Hilltoppers. They are able to help with getting started, creating a profile, searching programs, buying your flights, what to pack and more!

Peer Advising is not available during the campus closure, set up an appointment with an advisor below.

Meeting with a Study Abroad

They are able to help and guide you through your entire study abroad process & will be your main point of contact once you begin applying to a program.

Before meeting with an advisor, you should have a study abroad profile on this portal.

First timer? Please try to attend a group info session or meet with a student advisor before setting a meeting with one of them.

Note, during the spring 2020 campus closure, all appointments will be via Google Hangouts, Zoom, or Skype. Advisors will contact you once you have set up your appointment to verify the best way to contact you.
